Can you create a folder named "con", "prn", "nul" in windows?

Can you create a folder named "con" in windows?? Also try to create a folder named "nul" you won't be able to. If you are not tired, also try creating folder named “prn“. I hope you could create, oh you could not??? Yes, there is a reason.
This is because “nul”, “prn” and “con” are “special” files in Windows System that are used in maintaining the internal directory structure in the FAT (File Allocation Table). Another undocumented bug of undisclosed source code - OS.Live with these or switch to linux. :-D

This Friday, at 9 p.m., when the baritone of Amitabh Bachchan rings across living rooms in the twin cities from the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati-2 on Star Plus, Hyderabadis will have one more reason to stay glued to their television sets.
The reason answers to the name Piyush Swain, an engineer who is a native of Rourkela in Orissa, born in Uttar Pradesh, brought up in Assam, educated in Orissa and Kerala and having worked in Bangalore, Delhi and Hyderabad.
Piyush , according to Star Plus, after playing for the big money of Rs. 2 crore, could be the highest winner so far. But how much the Associate Consultant with Infosys Technology Ltd at has won is a closely guarded secret. Friday episode at 9 p.m. will reveal his fortune
That is, till Friday when the show goes on air. A rightly excited Piyush, however, is all calm and reason when talking about his performance. "To put up a good performance on KBC, you need not be a bookworm.

Argument list too long - Work Around

I was deleting files by using rm on the linux server. There is a maximum number of files that can be passed as arguments to rm. So it does not allow you remove the files with 'rm' command.

Using rm to delete files is the easiest way adopted by us (linux users). rm is generally used with ease on a daily basis. So what you can do when the simple rm command does not work.

There were around 72K files were generated in a folder which I wanted to delete this morning. So I went to that directory and tried to remove all the files starting with "Count*".

root # rm Count*
/bin/rm: Argument list too long.

No way. The irritating error message appeared.

Not sure what the maximum number of arguments for rm command, may be its 1024 arguments only.

The workaround is simple: Use find to pipe all the matching files to rm, one at a time.
root # find . -name 'Count*' | xargs rm

And this can remove as many files as you want. This work really great!!

Linux VI Editor - Error E138 with VI Editor - E138: Can't write viminfo file /root/.viminfo!

Technology - Linux / VI Editor

I saw this Error E138 while editing some file with VI Editor.

The error description is like this.
E138: Can't write viminfo file /root/.viminfo!Hit ENTER or type command to continue

This is the Solution I found:
When you get error "E138: Can't write viminfo file" check that no old temp files were left behind (e.g. ~/.viminf*) and that you can write in the directory of the .viminfo file. {not in Vi}
I have removed the .viminf*.tmp files from /root directory. There was no error or annoying message while editing in VI Editor.
